Product Description

The cylinder head is installed on the top of the cylinder block to seal the cylinder from the top and form the combustion chamber. It is often in contact with high temperature and high pressure gas, so it bears a lot of thermal load and mechanical load. A cooling water jacket is made in the cylinder head of a water-cooled engine, and the cooling water hole on the lower end face of the cylinder head is communicated with the cooling water hole of the cylinder block. Circulating water is used to cool high temperature parts such as combustion chamber. The cylinder head is also equipped with inlet and exhaust valve seats, valve guide
holes, which are used to install the inlet and exhaust valves, as well as the intake and exhaust channels. The cylinder head of gasoline engine is equipped with a hole for installing spark plug, while the cylinder head of diesel engine is equipped with a hole for installing fuel injector. Camshaft bearing holes are also machined on the cylinder head of the overhead camshaft engine to install the camshaft. The cylinder head is usually made of gray iron or alloy cast iron, and the heat conductivity of aluminum alloy is good, which is conducive to improving the compression ratio. Cylinder head is a part of combustion chamber, and the shape of combustion chamber has great influence on the engine. Because of the different combustion modes of gasoline engine and diesel engine, the part of combustion chamber on cylinder head is different. The combustion chamber of gasoline engine is mainly on the cylinder head, while the combustion chamber of diesel engine is mainly in the pit on the top of piston.
