Product Description
Silicone oil fan clutch uses silicone oil as medium and uses silicone oil shear viscosity to transmit torque. The speed of the fan is designed to ensure that the engine does not overheat under the worst service conditions. Therefore, during the normal driving process of the vehicle, the speed of the fan should be controlled within an appropriate range, so as to reduce the noise and improve the economy of the engine. For an engine driven fan, the fan clutch is usually used to control its speed. The clutch is sealed with viscous fluid (silicone oil) and transmits torque by its shear viscosity. A bimetallic sheet is installed in front of the fan to sense the air temperature passing through the radiator, so as to control the amount of silicone oil in the working chamber of the fan. Only when necessary can the torque be transmitted to make the fan rotate. In the initial stage, only the switch type silicone oil fan clutch that cuts off and turns on the rotating driving force at high temperature and low temperature. With the change of vehicle requirements for air volume and noise characteristics, the involute silicone oil fan clutch with more refined temperature speed five-stage control is the development direction in the future.
